jointly explore rituals, ceremonies and protest as performative practices and examine traditional cultural forms as a foundation for contemporary spirituality and aesthetics. Their residency project “Veltroyer” is conceived as a performative mourning ritual drawing on traditional Jewish, Iranian and earth-centred practices. It serves to mourn the loss of non-human worlds and to create forms of collective memory and connection.
